Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 is an American actress who is best recognized for her part in 24 and the voice acting that she did for Tess in NaughtyDog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. In her youth she competed as an Irish dancer and a member the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching began her acting career as an actress on Star Trek: Enterprise. She continued to be a guest star on shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Charmed, and Supernatural. From March 2007 to November 2007, she had playing the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. She has also performed in theatres such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season stint in 24 Wersching played guest roles on a variety of shows that included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which also features the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). Also, she was a regular on the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played the National League's catcher on 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was discovered that Wersching played the voice actor as well as the mo-cap actor Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's twitter account prior to when she was finally made public in the story trailer that was shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching would play the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
