Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was the daughter of Janice
Cooke, who is an accountant as well as William Kendrick (a teacher). Michael
Cooke Kendrick is her older brother. She was also an actor. Anna Kendrick is
Scottish, Irish and English-born. She received nominations for the Tony Award
(second youngest ever), the Drama Desk Award and the Fany Award (best actress
in the musical). She received the Drama League Award and Theatre World Award
for her performance. Also, she had the honor of working alongside the director
Scott Ellis and choreographer Susan Stroman at the New York City Opera House
along with Jeremy Irons amongst many more celebrities, and played the part of
"Fredrika" in "A Little Night of Music".Anna work-shopped
"Jane Eyre" & "The Little Princess" for Broadway as
well as starring in the film Camp (2003) with director Todd Graff.Was nominated
for Broadway's 1998 Tony Award as Best Actress (Featured role Musical) for her
role in the musical "High Society." It was her second nomination for
the award in Tony history (after 1991's Tony winner, Daisy Eagan). In Tony
history, George Clooney made fun of her when she worked with Susan Stroman and
Scott Ellis at the New York Opera House. Anna was in the film Camp (2003) and
was nominated for the 1998 Tony Award for Best Actress (Featured Role -
Musical) for the musical "High Society." She was nominated in 2010
during the time between the 2nd and third installments of the series.Graduated
from Deering High School (Portland, Maine) in 2003.London was filming Into the
Woods (2014). In September 2013, she has the distinct accomplishment of having
appeared on three major screen musicals : Into the Woods (2014).
